Private Surfing Lessons

Course Details

Who is this course suitable for?

Private surf lessons are perfect for individuals and small groups or families. They are aimed at surfers of all skill levels who expect maximum attention from a private surf instructor.

In case of a private group: to achieve the best possible results, your group should be as homogeneous as possible. If your skill levels are too far apart, the faster learners may not be able to achieve the maximum results, as your instructor will always have to focus on the slowest members of your group.

Private lessons are the best way to achieve great results in a limited time frame.

How do private surfing lessons work?

Your instructor will help you to set and achieve your surfing goals, taking into consideration your surfing level, your level of fitness, your personal wishes and your priorities.
Your instructor will carry out a short assessment on the beach and in the water (if needed). It will help them to understand your individual needs so you can get the best from your private lesson.
If you have any videos or photos of your surfing, please bring them with you. These can help your instructor decide where to start, so you don´t waste your time doing stuff you already know.

Our Surf Instructors

All our surf instructors are skilled and professional, certified by the International Surfing Association (ISA) and the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS).

We keep our groups small, always working to a maximum of eight students per instructor, in keeping with the recommendation of the ISA. Meet our team.

Equipment

Surfboards: It depends on your surfing level, but we recommend using soft surfboards with soft fins to avoid injuries. We also use extra-long leashes to prevent the board from dragging you if you fall off.

Wetsuits: Your body will be protected (from the sea, the board, and the sun!) with one of our high-quality wetsuits from top brands including Rip Curl, Quiksilver and Roxy.

The sun here in Lanzarote is strong, therefore we recommend applying high-factor water-resistant sunscreen to the exposed parts of your skin. Sunscreen is available in our surf shop if you forget to bring your own.
