Our Kids Summer Surf Camp is a unique activity holiday trip for kids, aged 13-17. Amazing opportunity to learn how to surf, making new international friends with plenty of fun and exciting activities. We at REDSTARSURF prepared a rich and eventful schedule which will keep your kids busy and entertained.  Dear parents, you won’t have to worry about the leisure and safety of your beloved ones!

Kids Summer Surf Camp is tailored for boys and girls, who want to learn how to surf and to get some rest after an intense school year in the company of same-aged. For all 11 days of the surf camp, we will provide full board (3 meals a day) and 2 group leaders who will be with the kids 24/7 and stay with them in the surfhouse.

Description Kids Summer Surf Camp

The core part of the programme is daily group surf lessons on the beach. Your children will be under the constant supervision of our professional surf instructors, both on the beach and in the water. They will acquire safety and all the basic skills necessary for surfing. Furthermore, we will teach your kids how to “read the ocean”, how to paddle, and of course to catch waves.

Our surf instructors are professional lifeguards, certified by the International Surfing Association ISA and the Royal Life Saving Society RLSS

They will make sure that your kids are safe during the lessons and that they have lots of fun.

Activities after surfing

Just after the surfing lessons, in the second part of the day, your kids will enjoy excursions to the most exciting sights of the island and different entertaining activities. We will show them mind-blowing views at the ocean and volcanos. Our main goal is to make the camp as fun, informative and educational as possible!

 Lanzarote indeed has a lot to offer. It’s one of the most unique islands of the Canary archipelago with breathtaking Martian landscapes and peculiar local culture and traditions which are quite different from the ones in the continental Spain. During the trips, we will stop in small restaurants to sample delicious fresh local food.

Moreover, the leisure activities programme also includes trips to the diving and snorkeling center, aquapark, zoo, and to the neighboring island La Graciosa

A big benefit for your kid’s language skills

The Kids Summer Surf Camp will be also beneficial for your kids’ language skills. The surf camp is international, therefore, surf lessons and other activities will be held in English. That means that the surf camp will become a full-fledged language practice for the participants, but much more entertaining than a traditional language school course. The kids will speak English or Spanish not only to instructors and group leaders but also to each other, which will help them with getting rid of language barriers and achieving fluency.
